(Tempat/location) + N benda mati/in-animate + ga (jumlah/quantity) + arimasu.

(Tempat/location) N benda hidup/animate ga (jumlah/quantity) + imasu.

Contoh:

Jimushitsu ni kopii kikai ga arimasu.

There is a copy machine in the office.

Di ruang kantor ada mesin fotokopi.

Soko ni terebi ga arimasu.

There is a television over there.

Disitu ada televisi.

Kyoushitsu ni gakusei ga imasu.

There is a student in the classroom.

Di kelas ada pelajar.

Ike ni sakana ga imasu.

There is a fish in the pond.

Di kolam ada ikan.

N + wa + (tempat/location) + (jumlah/location) + arimasu/imasu.

Contoh:

Gakusei wa doko ni imasu ka.

Where is the student?

Pelajar ada dimana?

Gakusei wa kyoushitsu ni imasu.

The student is in the classroom.

Pelajar ada di ruang kelas.

Kuruma wa nan-dai arimasu ka.

How many cars are there?

Ada berapa banyak mobil?

Kuruma wa go-dai arimasu.

There are five cars here.

Ada lima buah mobil disini.

-          Menyatakan maksimal tiga benda yang ada

N1 to N2 to N3 ga arimasu/imasu.

Contoh:

Kaban no naka ni hon to enpitsu to fudebako ga arimasu.

There is a book, pencil, and pencil box in the bag.

Di dalam tas ada buku, pensil, dan kotak pensil.

Ie ni chichi to haha to ane ga imasu.

There is father, mother, and elder sister at home.

Di rumah ada ayah, ibu, dan kakak perempuan.

-          Menyatakan lebih dari tiga benda yang ada

N1 ya N2 ya N3 nado ga arimasu/imasu.

Contoh:

Jimushitsu ni denwa ya fakkusu ya kopii kikai nado ga arimasu.

In the office there are phone, facsimile, copy machine, etc.

Di dalam ruang kantor ada telepon, faksimil, mesin fotokopi dan lain-lain.
